BASIC COMBUSTION LEAK TESTER is the cheapest and least advanced tester on the market. Thanks to the simplistic design, the price is very attractive for any DIY person. It is a cheap but still powerful device in diagnosing combustion leak: cylinder to the coolant. Bear in mind, the tester will not detect small leaks, the sensitivity is too low.  Also, the lack of filtering could lead to false test results, the test fluid might not change colour.
